The Making Of The Nursery

Ben had 12 days off for block leave. With no plans of traveling, so we took the opportunity to get a head start on the nursery. This room was originally "the office". The walls, as you can see in some of the pictures need some work. We don't plan on being in this house forever, so instead of making real repairs we just washed down the walls and slapped some paint on it. It's amazing what a can of paint can do. It only took us a couple days to have it cleaned, painted and painted again. Casey helped out a ton with the painting and had us laughing the whole time.

There are a few more touches we will be adding on soon and of course we will be sharing those with you all!

  3. Paint is awesome! Hides a world of wonders :-)

Um, 5 weeks really changes a prego stomach...you look adorable, and glad you were wearing the mask. Mom and I painted Eli's nursery together when I was further along than you. I don't remember putting a mask on though. Probably why he is so messed up HEHE.

I haven't gone out yardsaling since we talked but will keep my eyes open for stuff!

  4. Picked out a nice color. Green is calming so they say. I was a little surprised that you didn`t paint it blue you know for a boy. Green is nice too. I`m glad your both enjoying getting ready for cash and I also saw that you were wearing a mask while painting. Good going! Back when I was doing those things while pregnant didn`t know better. lol CAn`t wait to see more pictures as you go along.
